Taxi Driver

 

As I started thinking about this project in 1997-98 I knew it would take time. To travel so much and cover all the expenses. I have been lucky to travel both private and during photo assignments which has allowed me to realize my idea. There are more countries, cities and places I would like to cover, and might do, but there is also a time when you have to come to an end. That time has come.

Find here a selection of pictures that will appear in the book and exhibition Taxi Driver later this year. The book will contain much more material, such as quotes from drivers about their daily work and situation. And of course many more portraits and Taxi pictures from all over the world.
